About the Project

EUYOU is a pilot project of a consortium of Slovenian organizations aimed at raising awareness of and counseling on the civil rights of mobile EU citizens and integrating mobile EU citizens in local democratic communities.

Mobile EU citizens are all EU27 nationals who reside or work in an EU country other than their home country.

Who Can Benefit From this Project?

The activities and content of the project are primarily intended for:

EU citizens who are not Slovenes but who live or work in Slovenia.
Erasmus students in Slovenia.
ESE volunteers in Slovenia.
Young people who plan to go or are deciding about studying or working abroad.
People who want to know more about civic rights of mobile EU citizens.

What Can the Project Offer Me?

Cultural and Educational Workshops

From May to October 2020, 40 events will take place across Slovenia, targeting mobile EU citizens in Slovenia and young people who are planning a longer stay (study or work) in another EU country. Cultural and educational events will be hosted by 10 Slovenian youth centers.

Digital Counseling Center

The website provides a catalogue of the rights of EU mobile citizens guaranteed by international, European and national law. For those who wish to become even more familiar with your rights as (mobile) EU citizens, we have equiped each right with the primary legal source governing this area.
